Effective solutions for industrial gas purification

We are developers and manufacturers, we have our own patents and many positive R&D results. We are residents of the Skolkovo Innovation Center for the automated waste sorting and thermal disposal complex project.

Problems

Wet gas cleaning systems have the highest efficiency. At the same time, the use of such systems is extremely difficult in the conditions of the far north and remote areas from civilization, when not only control, heating, but also the supply of high-quality water (drinking or technical) for use in such systems is required.

The composition of industrial waste may include various substances, depending on the organization's activities, the following list is compiled:

  • Petroleum products formed from raw materials during its extraction or processing.
  • Galvanic sludge or electrolytes
    Waste from the production of varnishes, paints, emulsions, and solvents.
  • Additives, dyes and other materials of the food industry.
  • Vegetable or animal oils.
  • Other chemical industry products.

Technological challenges

ECO-SPECTRUM's mission is to develop universal solutions for efficient flue gas cleaning.

The reagent injection unit was designed for the ordered H500 installation with a dry gas purification system in the Arctic version. The design was carried out according to the following initial data:

  • – flue gas volume – 2500 Nm3/h;
  • – the temperature at the inlet to the reagent injection unit is not more than plus 200 °C;
  • – the estimated flow rate of the circulating reagent is 4 kg/hour;
  • – operating temperature -60 °C.. +45 °C;

Solution

  • Based on the results of the evaluation of the initial data and taking into account the temperature regime of operation for the manufacture of equipment, it was decided to use special steel resistant to corrosion and acidic environments, which, as part of R&D, passed all strength and temperature tests (climatic and technological).
  • A scheme with the supply of a mixture of atmospheric air with a dry reagent (sodium bicarbonate) to a turbulent swirling flue gas stream has been preliminarily selected.
  • During the tests, stable operation of the reagent injection system was observed. The readings of the aerodynamic resistance of the elements (as measured by a differential pressure gauge) were within the calculated limits, jumps and drops were not observed. Losses on the bag filter amounted to 2%, which is sufficient to form an additional layer on the filter bags and does not interfere with the possibility of operation without additional reagent loading during the entire shift.
  • Technological solution of the patent No. Patent 2821212, can be used in any industrial facilities.

The HURIKAN C cyclone furnace was developed by the ECO-SPECTRUM team

An innovative approach to the selection of GO and reagents has been developed, capable of ensuring the quality of emissions within the limits of technological indicators.
Eco-Spectrum LLC will continue to gain diverse experience in terms of design solutions and selection of component equipment for the needs and tasks of customers, in order to maximize customer satisfaction for the operation of our equipment.

In order to confirm the results on the composition of gases, measurements were carried out by an independent accredited laboratory in order to design a GO to bring the concentrations of pollutants to the norm in accordance with the requirements of environmental legislation. The ECO-SPECTRUM team strives for the novelty and perfection of its own technologies.
