A breakthrough solution for the disposal of liquid and gaseous waste

We are developers and manufacturers, we have our own patents and many positive R&D results.
We are residents of the Skolkovo Innovation Center for the automated waste sorting and thermal disposal complex project.

Problems

The vast majority of industrial liquid waste belongs to the fourth and higher hazard classes. Therefore, their disposal requires careful technology selection.

The composition of liquid industrial waste may include various substances, depending on the organization's activities, the following list is compiled:

  • Petroleum products formed from raw materials during its extraction or processing.
Loss of commercial qualities of waste makes it impractical to sort
  • Galvanic sludge or electrolytes
Waste from the production of varnishes, paints, emulsions, and solvents.
  • Additives, dyes and other materials of the food industry.
  • Vegetable or animal oils.
  • Other chemical industry products.
  • Liquid industrial waste also includes liquid compositions with radioactive inclusions, landfill filtrates, sludge, industrial effluents, reverse osmosis waste.

Technological challenges

Eco-Spectrum Company, developing its technological potential, has developed an integrated approach to solving the problem of liquid waste disposal.

  • Testing of the heating system and the automatic adjustable supply of heating oil to the process plant.
  • Conducting laboratory tests for the acceptability and applicability of the thermal method of waste disposal, based on the technology of high-temperature combustion in an environment of excess oxygen.
  • Investigation of the ash residue for possible use in production (* disposal of VMR).
  • Collecting data on the direct costs of decontamination in order to substantiate the economic benefits of the applicable method.

Solution

An innovative approach to the selection of GO and reagents has been developed, capable of ensuring the quality of emissions within the limits of technological indicators.

  • During the tests, readings were taken on energy consumption, fuel consumption, electricity, reagents, etc.
  • The operating modes are determined, the burning rate is determined, the ash content percentage is determined, the ash quality and its hazard class are determined, and the cost of thermal waste disposal is calculated.
  • Data on the amount of heat, electricity, CO2, and % of commercial ash were removed (2: 38.21.40 Ash and residues from waste incineration, HS code of the commodity nomenclature for the customs declaration 2621 10 000 0 ash and residues from incineration).

The HURIKAN C cyclone furnace was developed by the ECOSPECTRUM team

The test result confirms the possibility of reducing the hazard class from III to IV, reducing the volume of heat generation (WMP) from the thermal disposal of liquid waste in the cyclone type incinerator HURIKAN C, data has been obtained that are used to compile a feasibility study and proof of environmental effectiveness.

For a complete understanding of the composition of the emission gases and the design of the GO to bring the concentrations of pollutants to the norm in accordance with the requirements of environmental legislation. measurements were carried out by an independent accredited laboratory. The ECO-SPECTRUM team strives for the novelty and perfection of its own technologies.
