On July 3, 2020, a joint meeting of the RF CCI Committee on Nature Management and Ecology and the RF CCI Committee on Entrepreneurship in Healthcare and the Medical Industry was held on the topic “Creation of an epidemiologically and environmentally safe system for managing medical waste, including medical equipment: lessons from a pandemic”.
Eco-Spectrum LLC acted as active participants in the discussion, acquainting those present with modern methods of thermal waste disposal and innovative gas filtration systems after the incinerator. The solution is given in the patent project of the TYPHOON series wet gas cleaning system, which prevents the recombination of the dioxins and furans formed during the thermal decomposition of chlorine-containing components that are capable of recombination. Eco-Spectrum supported the amendments to Federal Law No. 89, in the section on the regulation of medical waste management. All proposals concerning the harmonization of legislation in the field of environmental protection with legislation in the field of ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population were considered. The Eco-Spectrum company proposed measures to combat inappropriate handling of medical waste, namely the discharge of hazardous waste of high hazard classes into "A class" of waste.
The developments and regulations for the operation of equipment manufactured by Eco-Spectrum are aimed at achieving epidemiological and environmentally safe destruction (neutralization) of all types of waste.
